The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Not only because of the great past times it facilitates (nothing says summer like drinking American beer out of a can and watching some fireworks from the back of a pickup truck), but  I especially love to have a bit of fun with the fashion each year. There isn’t a more perfect day to get inspired by our homeland and do a little over-the-top Americana: cutoff shorts, stars, stripes, eagles, and some glitter – all necessary components. Enjoy a nice mid-week break and don’t be afraid to rock your patriotic side.
